Hello again, Fixing one problem and found another. I lifted left side valve cover (so as to watch #1 cylinder valves to locate TDC) and I found #3 cylinder/intake valve 'oil deflector' laying in the bottom of the valley. I checked service manual and found 351 HO motors do not have this 'oil...

Found it. It was the flasher switch at the steering colume (the emer. flasher switch toogles between the emer. flasher & the turn signal flasher unit). The signal from the turn signal flasher unit was not being allowed through the n/c contacts. I pulled the unit, cleaned the crap out of it...

I'm sorry, forgot to mention. Thats the first thing we tried. Actually, tried 3 different units. One brand new from the parts house.

hopefully someone has seen this and can help. we dropped a rebuilt motor in this not to long ago, after we were done we had no gas gauge working and notice some funny activity at the tail lights. My daughter and i dug into the tali lights a little and we have these clues. 1. brake lights work...
