I really like the single tail light look, but those bottom corners are not going to fit inside the rounded shape of the mustang tail light panel. I could design something similar, but it would have to be a custom shape.

These are my concepts for a modified tail light that has a more interesting shape than the stock lights yet, still flows with the 71 body lines.

yes exactly. the whole c pillar panel surface would have to be pulled in tighter to the roof-edge-line. i think it could be done!

I have always thought it would be cool to use a convertible qtr panel on a fastback because the hip line continues all the way instead of terminating up behind the qtr window on the fastback.

I have tried that before but the problem is if you smooth that line inwards, you'll actually sink part of the fastback skin and then the roof will look like it has a big dent in that area.

Hi, New Member here. I've had this car about a year now. Haven't gotten to do a whole lot to it other than clean out rat crap and some disassembly. I bought it without motor or transmission. Originally had a 302/auto, original paint was grabber lime. Just a sportsroof, not a Mach 1.
