Can't Remove Caliper From Front Disc Brake Rotor

Looks to me like it is being held in place by the heavy rust. I have never heard of using molasses and water, but I would try it AFTER I try soaking it in white vinegar. I have used white vinegar to remove rust. I would try placing the assembly in a 5 gallon bucket. Submersing it in white...

    Running Horse Door Seal Logo

It may have been a local dealer prep thing. They were there on that Mach I that I owned and drove from May 72 till September 82. They looked really good, much better than the Blue oval ford script.

351C 4V Spreadbore intake vs Squarebore intake

Everything listed above is true. However, I am a diehard who likes the 4300-D and that is what I have on my H code 72 with 71 closed chamber heads. I have three, 4300-D's as spares. I have been picking them up as I see them at a good price over the past 20 years. I currently have a spare 4300-D...

    Consumer Guide Article 71-73 Mustangs

Thanks for the article. Must have been written by Chevy guys. Like it for what few bits that are accurate. Dislike it for the inaccurate parts. 71 Mach I will always be my favorite car.

    351 Cleveland Overheating Issued

Hi, I'm Brad. I read the article listed at this link below in an above response. It is great information. Just one question unanswered in the article. Of the TWO size hats listed for Ford in the article, which size is correct for the 351-C engine? https://www.coolcatcorp.com/thermostats/Ford.html

Hi. I am Brad Moffitt. I am 75 years old and have owned 71-73 Mustangs since 1972. HAVE TACHOMETER QUESTION.

Thanks for the information. I'll leave this item to one of the last punch list items after T-5 Conversion and rear disk brake conversion. The Tach-Odometer cluster has been in the family since 1972. It came from a wrecking yard. The odometer has 31,000 miles on it.

Hi. I am Brad Moffitt. I am 75 years old and have owned 71-73 Mustangs since 1972. HAVE TACHOMETER QUESTION.

I am restoring a 72 Mach I H code to Q code specs. I also have a 72 Sprint 302, 73 convertible 302 and 71 Mach I M code in various states of restoration. For spare parts, I have 5 doner bodies (3 coups and 2 fastbacks to work with. The pandemic cost me a couple of years work, so I am trying to...

New Radiator Install - proper block flush

You never know what might be in your block. My brother purchased a 71 Mach I M code new. A couple years later, I bought it from him. Long story short, while returning home from work in 1980, it overheated. After it cooled off, I removed the thermostat, suspecting its failure the cause of the...

    351c 2v 4 bbl intake options

One option for four-barrel conversion while keeping 351C 2 barrel heads is to use an Aussie 4 barrel intake. It avoids the necessity to find extremely scarce and expensive 4300-D or 4350 carb because it uses the Holley or Quadrajet Spreadbore configuration instead of the 4300-D or 4350 carb...

    351c Build Ideas And Advice

I did my 351-C build about 15 years ago and then got tied up in work and building a Volunteer Fire Department. Short of it, it still has less than 1,000 miles on the build. Started with "H" code, replaced heads with 71 M codes, got a spreadbore intake and 4300-D carb. Still has FMX transmission...

    Running Horse Door Seal Logo

My brother purchased a 71 Mach I M Code grabber green new in Tri Cities Area of Tennessee. The door sill panels of that car had Running Horse logos on them where the blue oval Ford seal is located on current replacement panels. I called CJ Pony to see if I could get those stick-on running horse...
