Must be very nice for a NOS set of deluxe blue panels. Anyone know the original part # ?  thanx

ib4stangs, the original speaker grill was D1ZZ-18978-A, replaced by D2ZZ-18978-A. The over the counter replacement grills were black and had to be painted to match the interior color. The color paint needed can be derived from your interior trim code. If you try to find some used ones, you can also source them from 71-73 Cougars. Good used ones can be found, but a lot of them usually had a few louvers broken since the low placement on the door lent them to be easily damaged. Don @ OMS or Mike @ Motor City Mustang may have some used blue grills. There are repo's available but if you want NOS there is a set on E-Bay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-1972-1973-FORD-MUSTANG-DOOR-BLACK-SPEAKER-GRILLES-2-IN-ORIG-FORD-BOXES-i-/361956517574?hash=item54464a26c6:g:gboAAOSw5UZY9O1q&vxp=mtr

Thanx Steve, I thought you might be the one to give me the info. Unfortunately, I have a NOS black set but would rather not dye/paint them and am looking for that sweet original Blue pair.  If I need to color match I will but would prefer those first...

Any other mint Blue fastback interior parts for my 73 Mach restoration wanted too.
