I didn't have good luck sealing oil pans with just the gasket as others here. I have installed and reinstalled several oil pans and they all have leaked after a period of time. The current one I did it with Black Permatex and so far so good. It is definitely more work to remove and clean up though. The Permatex is more forgiving and takes care of any undulations on the oil pan lip.

If interested, you can see I am selling a non-stock oil pan in the Classified section. However, this is a more expensive and performance oriented pan than the Dynacorn.
