This here is a 190 rc plane with a sternmotor..Just like the original bi planes had scaled down..lol...This has to be the coolest sounding RC motors ever....Lisin too it on the fly by...Crank it up...If it flew over your head in a dive you would hit the ground..lol...What a terror!!..hehe...I got a few cheesy rc's 190 parkzone and a rc pather jet..I been thinkin about picking up one of these motors..just to have it runing on stand..maybe power a ..mmmm go cart? lmao

btw takes a while for him to get it primed and ready....But well worth skipping to take off if you dont got the time to lisin too him mess with it...lol

That's my next hobby when the Rustang is actually a shiny car again. I've been into nitro R/C cars for a long time... but I think it'll be time to build a nitro-powered bird.

I would have to learn to fly one just for doing fly-bys to myself over and over and over and...

E..let me know when your ready..I have a ton of r/c plane stuff I want to sell (I've been in the hobby for 40 years !) I flew pattern competitively for over 10 years & have some 2 meter birds I'd like to sell.. All the Y.S. motors I fly in my pattern planes are SUPER CHARGED & FUEL INJECTED

Yup....if you wanna learn how to fly RC planes mister4x4...I would find a pro to learn with like above.....Most have nice futaba controllers with link cables...So they can take over your plane when you cant controll it...lol...I my self have birds im afraid to fly till i learn some more..Even know the foam ones are cheap...I dont feel like taking 150 bucks out of my pocket and burning it...lol....If not one close by...I would buy the cheapest electric trainer...Bananahobby.com gots some real cheap total packages..80 bucks will get you bird..controller..and able to fly up too 3,000 feet.....And dont be fooled when it says good for beginner...lol..I have a panther electric jet...It flys over 70mph...Even know some sites say..Great for beginnner!! ..ya right..lol.

<~~this is the same little jet i got...As you can tell..Its a fast hand full..lol..i paid 125 bucks for everything...plane..controller..bats...and if you like them so much and feel like getting better controller and stuff..they can all be modifide like crazy now days..lol

I have a buddy from my brass band who flies... a lot. He's been buggin' me to come fly with him and has even offered to sell me one of his entry-level set-ups. We usually wind up talking about R/C stuff after rehearsals and he even brought in an electric helicopter and let me fly it around the band hall - too much fun!

Q - yeah, man - we'll hafta figure something out. I'm wanting to get to the 2-meter size at some point. I've always been into building models (of warbirds and cars, mostly) and would love to build my own monster F-4U/4 Corsair - and fly it. Possibly even a ducted fan or jet-powered F-15, F-101, F-16, or MiG-29.

F.I.'s the only way to go - especially if you plan on ever being inverted or vertical for more than a second or two.

OK - it's official: I have too many hobbies :shy: But, at least they're all cool. :D
