boss 351 actual compression ratio

Does anyone have accurate information as to what the actual compression ratio of a stock Boss 351 was? Ford was notorious in prior year for over stating compression ratios. Chuck

In my ford performance book by pat ganahl, he has the boss 351 at 11.1 to1 and a regular 4v at 10.7 to 1 and the cobra jet at 9 to 1

I agree with the 10:7 to 1 for a stock Cleveland but I thought the Boss was

closer to 11.4 or more. My book by CarTech regarding Ford Performance

engines list my 351C 4V at 11.1 to 1. It lists the 2V at 9.5 to1.

All I know is my '70 Cleveland will traverse an incline at 500 RPM in 1st

no foot on the gas. That is compression.
