Scott or anyone else,

I am putting back together my front end of the car and am looking at welding back all new aprons and the cowl brackets. I just Rust Bulleted the front of the car. I will post a pic at some point.

My question is about lining up the car's metal before welding. I know your suppose to dry fit everything before welding but can I weld on the rear aprons and cowl brackets if I line up the hood hinges on it. The original tack welds are slightly visible on the cowl and it seems like the brackets can only go on 1 way. I was going to weld the rear aprons on after lining up the hinges and then put the fenders and hood back on to line up the front aprons and the radiator supports. Again the brackets can't really be adjusted and go on perfectly where they were originally.

Also how much of the cars accessories or necessities if you will like spindles, dust shields, brake piston housing are you Rust Bulleting. I did everything on the front end of the car including all rails, shock towers, cross member, etc. Are you guys just using regular paint for the other replaceable items on the car ( tie rods, support links brakes, power steering box etc....)

Thanks

PS I will have some brake questions coming up. I want to go through the front brakes discs and paint and replace parts. I may need some advice.
