Photos show the rotted quarters and holes in the rocker and door - not to mention the very photogenically foreboding fender rust - but the owner also tells me that the floorpans are absolutely non-existent, and the 351 is seized solid.

Seller: "It does have a 4-speed toploader though...you know how rare that combo is."

In my dreams: "$1,500 is a bit steep for a junker 4-speed toploader and a pile of scrap iron, sir."

Meh - that's around what I paid for mine - pretty much same stuff (seized 351C, rust everywhere, etc.).

That car's totally restorable. ;) :D

Auron and I went in together on a couple of parts cars: a '72 Mach 1 and a '73 Coupe. You cannot imagine how happy I was to discover that the '72 is not restorable (I don't feel bad about harvesting parts now). The '72 looks very similar to this one, but not as bad.

Correction - beached car.

Too bad it's not a Chevy.
