Was cleaning up today and found the cancelled check for my first speeding ticket...over 30 years ago, 71 Sportsroof, newly built 302, just over the 500 mile break-in and punched it in a bad spot. Despite the $ pain at that time, it brought back great memories.

Haha! Great story.

I only got out of 1 ticket. I was approaching a stop sign with my left turn signal on. I stopped, looked to teh left at my Father's house and saw my step sister's car in the driveway... so I turned right.

I didn't know there was a police car behind me until he lit me up. When he asked if I knew why he pulled me over, I said "probably because I turned right but had my left turn signam on." He said yes, why would you do that? I pointed back to the house and said "my father lives there and that is my step sister's car in the driveway... I didn't particularly want to see her."

He doubled over laughing and asked for my license, registration and proof of insurance.

He came back and gave me a warning.

Got pulled over for doing 64 in a 40 zone. Ouch!

The cop told me he had a '68 Chevy big block and

understood the urge to jump on it. Gave me back

my paper work and said "try not to". Got back on

his bike and left. No ticket.

Ohhh yes...Got the same story just about...lol..With a picture to go along with it...First real bad one i got...About 10ish years ago..I punched it showing off infront of my freinds..Just put a new carb and intake on day before...Got 80 foot of rubber and bam! He was on me...Wrote me up for 620 dollar ticket...1st degree neg!! He was so pissed he was cussing my freinds who where tring to take a picture....At the court i had to defur the ticket...Which means i had to pay the ticket..But wouldn't go on my record if i was good for a year..In Wa state you get one of them every 7 years..But it does not work on a reckless...Glad he didnt give me that one..lol

I literally have a driving record 3 pages long. The most notable were the three wreckless driving tickets. One was a 152 ft long burnout leaving college, next was "testing" the car 0-90 mph (also with a burnout), last was doing donuts in the middle of a four lane avenue.

I was a little crazy, but the Mach 1 survived all my abuse. lol.

I got pulled over in a friends 69 Vette on the way to the beach 136 in a 65 zone. He said he tried to tracked me for 12 miles but couldn't keep up so called ahead to shut us down. Wondered what was under the hood? Could have taken my license on the spot, but could believe how we were flying.

Raised the hood to show 600+HP built 427 RAT motor. All took from was a 5 mile test drive and told me to stay off his roads. My friend peed his pants because he thought he lost his car.

Never been faster then 110 since in any car. The lanes lines are solid at that speed

When he asked to see my papers he said he would tell me why

he stopped me. I told him I already knew why he stopped me.

Plus I think he liked the car. Or maybe it was the NRA sticker on

the rear window. Maybe the American flag on the TLP.

The worst ticket I ever got was 5 years ago in a small town south of Waco Texas I was coming back from Texas A&M the speed limit dropped from 70 to 45 with the only warning being a "reduce speed ahead" sign, I saw his lights on in front of me and in my head I thought "ha you got busted" and then he pulled behind me and that quickly turned to "Awe man It was me he busted" while waiting for the LEO to come back with the return he must have fat fingered my plate # putting 05jfd3 instead of 04jfd3 so even with my insurance card in hand he claimed I must have canceled my policy and gave me a whopping $600 ticket for 28 over + no insurance I fought it and the insurance was cleared up leaving the $300 speeding ticket which wasn't put on my record due to the cop's mistake but I still had to pay it. :/
