Got one of these out of curiosity.

While looking for holiday gift ideas, I

received an email from gearXS.com

http://www.gearxs.com/3-Channel-RC-Helicopter-with-Water-Shooting-Function?keyword=helicopter

This copter is amazing for the price!

It weighs less than two ounces and is

very well built. We have crashed it over

a dozen times (learning curve) and besides

some plaster residue on the rotors, there is

not a mark on it. Highly recommended.

We played with this for three hours and then

went and ordered four more.

That is a good holiday price...I usualy do alot of rc shopping my self...Got a few planes and a rc foam jet that does 100 mph...lol
It is very intricate and must have 100 parts all hand screwed together

with nuts and bolts. Has 3 DC motors one being the size of pea.

The gear box looks like the inside of a toploader and it is very fast.

There is a "demo" button :s The instructions say to get into a steady

hover then push the button. We did that and the copter jumped

straight up about 6 feet and hit the ceiling, in under a second.

There is also the water cannon

I forsee not only wet but broken filled with tremendouse amounts of laughter at your place.
We have been unable to break this so far, but not for lack of trying.

When I mentioned a few crashes these were full speed slam into

wall, floor and ceiling crashes, then fall 7 feet onto a glass table.

No issues, and it comes with spare parts.

Just ordered 5 based on your recommendation...1 was for me. :D
The remote only handles three channels but you can keep a spare

in the shop for repairs or for recharging. Takes about 30 minutes

using the remote or a USB port.

Got to go flying now....

My sister said NO FLYING THINGS for her kids...so I guess I could keep it:D
Then that would be a great gift for her kids :D
It would pay her back for all the noise making crap she bought my kids that drove me to the brink of self destruction

I remember the look on my Father-in laws face as he left after delivering ZOD! the disk shootin dinosaur back in 84. I got even. Dropped him by his house with finger paints after 2 chockolate doghnuts and kool ade for lunch! :p

What was the name of the helicopter from the 70's. It basically was attached to a rod and only flew around in circles. I think it was orange. There were only two levers, one for tilt, one for speed. I spent hours playing with it. It had a hook that you could pick up some cones or something. Shoot... the name will come to me.

Did you ever get yours?

Mine won't be here until the day after Christmas

These guys are slow! Knowing that I ordered four

more from a different dealer and they are already wrapped.

The "replacement" copters don't have the squirt gun, they

have a TV camera instead. You can take stills or movies and

it comes with a 1Gb memory chip (SD) so should hold

some pictures.
