the Enders family has supported Oilfield Helping Hands in a major way. They've seen our work with the sick and injured.

Today I had lunch with this young lady's dad. He sponsored our car show last year and wants to do something more this year. So he's committed to bringing Erica, the car and crew out to meet the public give some stuff away and sign autographs.

Amazing family!!!! If you have kids.... rent them the movie "Right on Track", a Disney movie about Erica and her sister.

Okay I realize most of you are a bit far off to attend the car show..... any contributions are a wonderful thing.

Now then....tomorrow I will meeting with Minute Maid Park in Houston to host the car show. If you can attend...I'll keep you posted on the final site....we had not one but TWO venues agree and then drag their feet for more money.....imagine...your doing this for charity and they are bargaining for more money for THEM. I dont get it.

So anyway the show will go on and the NHRA car will be there!

Thanks SM.... we met today with Minute Maid Park. Turns out the top dog is also car guy. One is a new friend to Enders ....Enders owns 11 classics.

So this top Coca Cola exec has just bought a 57 Chevy he's new to the classic car club with Enders. My buddy Enders has him on the hook!! pretty funny!

Looks like we get Minute Maid Park for free.!!!!

thanks Drop top..... I'm pretty excited about it. Would like to say it was a team effort. Cant describe how much work got us here. I know all the work and appointments ....but Greg waltz' in and BOOM his connections and power got it done. Thankful it worked out that way. We expect a BIG contribution this year. Last year we got 25.00 here 25.00 there.... for a total of 35000. One little girl with cancer and a fellow on a Harley run over by a SUV at a signal were two examples of folks that won from that effort.

That's awesome, good for you guys. We have something similar in my car club, but on a factor of .1x. We donate to a division of the United Way that helps people in and around the community we live, last year we cut them a check for $3500 from our little car show. But, a little goes a long way and every bit helps.

Having years of exposure to charities and evaluation of each, I have only two that i work with now. Oilfield Helping Hands and the Salvation Army. They both are top ranked with ethics and a high percentage redistribution of the funds received. I imagine you would agree it is a labor of love but it takes a lot of work.
