I was browsing for an article on how to install a shoulder harness type seat belt into my 73 when I came across your forum. Just bought my ride last spring and enjoyed cruising top down all last summer. Can't wait for Winter to go away. I had a 1966 Mustang "driver" convert for 14 years that I sold to make way for the 73. Just sent my ampmeter to Rocketman to have it converted to voltage and bought a modern tach conversion from him also. Look forward to browsing 7173 the next few nights to check it out.

Welcome from Chesapeake, VA!

Hi and ::welcome:: from cold and snowy Luxembourg / Europe. Don't worry, hibernation is soon gonna be over.

Seems like you have a good plan for the nights to come. :)

Oh, and before somebody else posts this, I'll go ahead and take care of it:

Welcome!

If originality is not a major concern the easiest way to add shoulder harnesses is to install seats from a late model convertible that have the shoulder harness built into the seat such as from a BMW convertible.

I recently installed a Rocketman tach conversion. Your going to love it.
