Transmission dip stick - 1973 Q-code with C-6 transmission

I need some help, My '73 does not have the correct dipstick in it. In fact, it has a GM stick in it. First question - What is the length of the correct stick from top of the cap (not the ring) to the end (tip) and second question - from the end (tip) of the dipstick to the cold fluid mark and the hot fluid mark. I just did some work on the transmission and want to make sure I'm not overfilling it. Thanks in advance.

correct number is D3ZP-7A020-AA
Stick out from tube is 3-3/16" [from the ring around tube where inserted in trans]
i measured dip stick at 10-15/16" [top of cap to end]

My guess a C6 trans tube and dip stick are the same from where they insert into the trans and measure the level... I'll check tomorrow I have a 76/77 460 C6 also a FMX.
