    I think there could be a self resetting overload inside the motor. This is shown on the 71 and 72 diagrams but not the 73. If this could be verified maybe that could be added to 73 mrmghale diagram.

    Tach and gauges install and wiring done.

    If you have a 72 and your dash is open could you take a picture of connector C-114? C-114 is the one of the heater switch connectors.

    Horde old parts, or toss?

    I tried to give away brand new parts and used parts before. Nobody thought it was worth the shipping charges. I remember bentworker couldn't give away a trailer load of parts for months. This month I am offering a Motorcraft 2100 D4PE carb that will probably end up in the garbage.

    Ok, now I see them in the assembly manual. If I stick my hand up in the fender I can feel one of the openings. Looks like I would have to disassemble the bucket to install. I will save that for the next owner. Thanks for finding the location for me.

    Part on the left is D12B-16D206-AA Part on the right is D12B-16D206-AA. Listed on ebay ($23.00) as front inner fender access cover shield plate. Found when cleaning the storage room. Have extras if anybody needs.
