I use Dustop covers on my Mustang and Corvette. These are garage-kept cars, and the Dustop covers are for indoor use only. But they work great!

This is what I did. When my original radiator developed a pinhole leak, I took it to a nearby radiator shop and had them build me a 4-row core that worked with my original tanks and top/bottom straps. The result looks like a stock radiator but with better cooling power.

Must vary from owner to owner. My '72 was a one-owner, unmolested, unrestored car when I bought it in 1988. The seal was on top of the core support. I don't think I've ever seen one under the core support. Sorry, not trying to be argumentative. :)
