I don't mean to hijack the thread, I'm just wondering how a 6 speed is 'wasted' on a bbf? This is an honest question, I have a 73 with a 429 I want to build into a scj and put a tremec 6 speed behind it.

429, c6 and 373 back when she ran I could get 12 highway, when I took it out to play it was single digits for sure XD I wanna say 7-8ish

I'm thinking ahead, pretty far ahead but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the dark horse racing fiberglass parts? Specifically the fiberglass front end?

Has anyone used a dark horse racing front end, it seems like a great way to shed weight and 1400 doesn't seem to steep but I can't seem to find and reviews or any information at all on them other than the dark horse sight

how well does a gearvendor work? I was just wondering about it performance wise, how well does it hold up to a big block? does it get better or worse gas milage than a tremec 6 speed? ive tried looking it up but I cant find any kind of information.
