You mean like these?: I have never liked them myself, for just the reason you state. They have failed me on more than one vehicle. I have switched, with great success (so far), to premade like these: Just gotta make sure the wire gauge and length are correct for your application (resistance)...

I tried a 3-point, but not thrilled with the look and function. I’m curious though, where did you mount the loose end of the retractable portion of the harness? I used the outside rear seat bolt as an attach point. Not ideal.

Unfortunately, I have no parts associated with the shoulder harness. Not even the attachment hardware.
