My uncle bought my car on ebay ten years ago with the idea of restoring it himself as he always liked this body style. When I saw it for the first time I knew I had to have it for myself so I made him an offer. It's a car that I just love to drive and don't really plan on ever selling.

I don't remember even seeing one around until my uncle brought this one home. As soon as I seen it I had to have one. There is just something about 7173 that just screams classic.

Hey DJ Here are the pictures of the end of the connector and the wire for the carb. The only thing is is I don't think this is my carb but the connector seems right even though it is broken. The only other carb that had the throttle up on it had a standard male type plug on it. Hope these help.

Right now its Blue Glow. But when I get it repainted I might go a darker shade with an argent bottom

I've been doing some searching around and it looks like you can by an air cleaner spacer. There not very expensive so I might give on a try.

After years of running an open element air breather on my car I've decided to go back to the factory assembly. The problem is my car was originally a 2barrel carb and now I have a 4 barrel Edelbrock and the Factory air cleaner doesn't fit. Is there some kind of adapter or spacer I can use.

The shop is a guonset hut on our farm that we turned half off into a workshop. I think its 40x40. It sure makes a nice place to work and wash on vehicles and equipment especially in the winter.

I took off the 2V carb awhile ago so i'm not sure which wire it could be. But I can get my old carb down and try and figure it out tomorrow. Hey DJ The plug at the end of it isn't a 90 deg. Its round maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of inch long and about 1/4 wide with a slit in the middle.

Thanks FasTnNefariouS. I'm keeping all the parts for the AC. Since it doesn't work and looking at all the work records I have I don't think it ever really worked from day one. It was fixed by the original owner in the 70s 2 or 3 times. Plus I really don't drive it when its hot out. But maybe...
