Yeah it's been raining so far so I haven't had time to tinker with it but that's first thing i'm was gonna do.
Thanks
Thank you, I am going to check the whole column area and go from there.
I should have also said checking with the fuse block diagram that's in the 73 wiring diagram section...
My turn signals stopped working, i checked the 14a fuse and it's blown, replaced it and it blew again. The hazards do work.
I put in another fuse, and as i looked at the fuse block i stuck the key in the ignition and it blew the fuse again with out turning the key at all. I'm at a loss...
Thanks for your input! To answer your questions and concerns: Those grind marks look like they were from when it probably jumped out or something? and I have no idea how it jumped, it does cycle the transmission so it made it seem like the linkage slipped, sadly that is not the cause.
The...
Okay so i took off the shifter and all of the linkage(column lock, kickdown) and reached into the hole and manually shifted the tranny so that I could see if it was the shifter just being worn out, but no it still does the same thing, so now I should know that it's an internal problem.
Dropped...
Okay i'm gonna try that tomorrow, thanks!! It's just weird because that day it drove like it normally had the day before and it's my daily driver. So when its in P the linkage should be all the way counter clockwise until it stops?
Man I hope so, the linkage doesnt seem to bind anywhere. Thanks
adjusted kickdown lever, drove it and everything worked fine, parked it overnight, got up next day and reverse went forward and "Park" feels like its in gear but no movement, i cant rev the engine past 1,5k rpms while in drive. Reverse is sometimes neutral or drive, drive is sometimes neutral or...
Yeah that's what i'm probably gonna do, i'm gonna put new leaf springs and jack up the rear a bit so they shouldn't be too low when driving.
I would, but one muffler was cracked right down the factory welds, but i welded it back up. I wanna hear how they sound on a cleveland though.
Hey everyone I recently got gently used 2011-2014 roush catback exhaust for $20, i was thinking about cutting off the bends and welding straight pipe out each end so that I could adapt them to my 73 whenever i build the new exhaust.
I know the tips will fit the rear valance for sure, but if the...
Thanks! yeah i've been meaning to make a cardboard mock up, but floor pans first, i don't mind the extra ventilation but chilly months are around the corner:-/
