    Radiator Replacement Question--two parts!

I'm replacing the radiator on my '71, 351c, v8. Car has been sitting for 25 years with fluids in it, including coolant. 1. I removed the first drain cap on the engine block but cannot loosen the second one--driver's side. Is it necessary to open and drain the second reservoir prior to replacing...

    Identify my carb…?

Ok! Mine is, in fact, a 1971 Mach 1, 351c, auto trans (c6). However, the Marti Report shows a 2 barrel carb. That’s throwing me off. Everything else seems to line up.

    Identify my carb…?

Sure. I will take a look when I get home. My Mach 1 came from the factory with a 351c and c6, but with a 2 barrel carb (per the Marty Report). I'll keep you posted later tonight.

    Identify my carb…?

This is a remanufactured Holley carb. The sticker identifies list # 3489 with e4-5024 following it. This should be a Holley 4160 I believe, but there is no transfer tube. I’m a newbie so any help identifying this is appreciated.

    '71 Mach 1: A Father-Daughter Restoration

[Day 1] My first car was a $500 '73 Volkswagen Super Beetle--bright orange. The garage down the street did the engine work and I drove it. I did some body work myself . . . I covered the hole in the passenger side floor with a heavy floor mat. Then, armed with a scraper for the inside...

AHHHH! Marti Report. I was wondering if there was anything like this. I am missing the door plate and would love that info.

I purchased the car from a family member's estate--was really glad to be able to keep it in the family. It wasn't stored well and collected some mold and mice. Hasn't been driving since '95. I hope to get it running over the winter, so I am working on getting the brakes freed up, fluids...

Absolutely. I'm very new to the vintage car scene. I would love to connect with others--I will have a ton of questions! Would love to see your '73.
