Is the courtesy lamp wiring part of the wiring harness?  My 72 Mach does not appear to have under dash lighting and I dont see a plug in the main harness either.  Anyone have pics of the light installed and what the harness looks like and where it plugs in?

I dont necessarily need to pull the transmission but I am going to so I can clean and detail everything.  There is 40 years of road grime caked on the bottom of the car.  I want everything nice and clean and painted when it goes back in.

  Thanks Geoff this does help.  I like how you used the 2x to rest the motor on.  That will make it easier to pull the trans apart from the motor.  I was trying to figure out the best way to support it after pulling the whole unit.

I am going to have the heads cleaned, checked and machined for screw in studs.  Is there any reason I cant order the correct spring kit for my cam, buy new valves and locks and assemble the heads myself? I am going to disassemble them before I take them in.
