What oil mods and lifter bore mods?  I doubt it will ever see over 6500 rpm's but the oil mods may be a good idea anyway.  Is there an article on how to do the mods?

Last night I pulled the intake manifold and this is what I saw.  Cylinder #8 had been fouling plugs and I suspected water was getting in the cylinder but I dont know where its coming from.  The intake port for #8 was crusty with rust even more so then what you see now.  I ran my finger over it...

I think the only way I wont use the stock heads is if it is ridiculously expensive to have them done. I like the idea of fuel injection.   I had been kicking that around anyway. Putting a 650 dbl pump on it today and hopefully getting it running.   Going to buy some used tires for now.

Thanks everyone. I have an aluminum intake that I plan on putting on and did not want to put the hack job plate on it. I will just leave that plate on the stock intake while its installed.
