    So since I have the staggered shocks my car came factory with the 351c 4bl and 15" rims??  Would it also indicate a posi rearend?  What gear ratio would it mst likely come with since it is a Q code 4 speed car?

    I have read some posts where people have replaced the gauge cluster circuit boards and still had issues with the lighting.  Is this a real concern?   Where is the best place to buy a new circuit board and be assured it is the highest quality?

    Is the staggered rear shocks an option?  Mine has one in front of rear end and 1 in the rear.  Is this the "drag pack" option or is it just how they all came?

    Still trying to figure out if I'm going to build the 460 block I have on the stand or pull the 351c and rebuild it.  What will transfer to the 460 from the 351?  Bell housing, pulleys? AC compressor, motor mounts, distributor???  Anything else that might transfer?

    I have not heard back from the guy since he sent me pictures. He must have come to his senses and thought about the values of the 2 cars when you compare them. Oh well its not like I dont love my 72 I just love a 69 a little bit more. I will have one one day.

    I guess I should have said I wanted it to look like a BOSS 429.  The motor would be a 460.  I have to do some research and see how hard it will be to change it from a automatic transmission to a manual.  If I cant make it a manual transmission car I will just keep my 72 and keep a 69 4 speed on...

    I have a 72 Mach 1 351CJ, 4 speed, AC, project car. Its a 1 of 1 optioned car per my MARTI report. Body is solid and has new floor pans. It needs paint and interior. I have a chance to trade for a similar condition 69 Mach 1 with a 351W auto. Why should or should I not do it?

    Manual disk brakes????

    So bottom line my car would not have come with manual brakes\no booster if it has front disks?  Is it possible that someone pulled the booster because it went bad and then just stuck a manual master cylinder back on it or is it more likely that they did a front disk brake conversion?

    My 72 Mach has front disks but they are manual brakes.  I thought all disk brake setups were power from the factory??  Did someone do a disk conversion on my car at some point and leave them as manual??

    Compressor $500 or less?

    I need a compressor in the garage but only have $500 to spend.  It needs to run air tools and an HVLP gun for painting the mustang.  I have been looking at a Kobalt one from Lowes but wondering if there are better options.

    Wood grain replacement?

    My center guage panel wood grain is all messed up.  I would like to keep it but in its present condition it is too bad to reuse. Do they make replacement woodgrain? Is it hard to install correctly? How do you remove the old stuff?
