    Tennessee area forum members

You know I'm in. Moreover, I shall try to recruit others, not only into the 71-73 Mustang madness, but into our forum, and our social shenanigans as well.

    Total vehicle LED lighting...

Sounds like you're a lot like me. Anyway, it would have been wiser of me to have clipped it down the essentials: Do it, if you want. Replace any crusty wiring. Of course, you were already there.

    1973 Mustang first car

Congratulations on such a sweet first car! My first car was a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Not so cool.

    Total vehicle LED lighting...

Well, Kit, I hope that I didn't offend you with my little joke about rationalizing things with your wife.

    Total vehicle LED lighting...

If you want to do it, just do it. There's absolutely no need to try and rationalize it, except maybe to your wife. If you have old and crispy wiring, it might be time to address that, however.

    Midnight Mustang Meetup

I haven't had an opportunity to do much besides getting her tucked away in storage. Once she was tucked in, there wasn't a lot of room for me to get photos, as she now shares cramped living space with a bass boat, and a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 four door (neither is mine). I did take one photo...

    Midnight Mustang Meetup

Thanks! Plans for the car include making an appearance or two in your neck of the woods (so to speak), so we may well meet face to face, or even door to door.

I'd love to meet up at Goodguys. My rolling hulk won't be mobile, much less presentable, but it would be great to meet some fellow fanatics.

Looks like we don't have any other members in the Cookeville area. I guess I'll have to be our local recruiter, then.

    Midnight Mustang Meetup

It was my great pleasure to meetup with our administrator Don, in the wee hours last night (or this morning). Don was in a real hurry to complete his marathon tour of the southeastern United States, but was every bit as nice in person as he seems over the internet. As a bonus, he seems to have...

Pics of Medium Lime Metallic w/ Red Interior

I gathered that alright, but I personally wouldn't let the existing interior color dictate the body color. My stance on this, however, is influenced by my idea that the interior needs to come out anyway, if the car is to be painted.

Pics of Medium Lime Metallic w/ Red Interior

Frankly, it sounds like a pretty awful combination to me. If you're not going to stick with the original body color, why not change the interior color as well? Black or Ginger would be great with the Lime body color. On the other hand, Black body color with Red interior is right up my alley.

1972 MUSTANG GRANDE FOR SALE 54,000 ORIGINIAL MILES - $4500

That car looks pretty good. NOT a parts car. I'd love to have it myself.
