    RESTO TIPS WITH-Q NEW VIDEO

Scott, I really enjoy your videos. Great stuff! I was wondering if you have any on proper leading procedures? I would like some pointers on this old school process. I pretty much have gone to brazing using my cobra torch since I can never seem to get lead to stick reliably. Regardless of...

    72 R code restoMod project

Update: American Power train got back to me first thing today. We suspect for some reason my hotmail acct wasnt accepting their emails. So I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and make a public apology to them regarding their "poor customer service". Scott, I called FatMan fabs today...

72 R code being resto moded.

Thanks, But Ill just keep it for a rainy day. It wont get less valuable with time. I took my wife to a local car show last weekend and she is on board with the Coyote purchase so 1/2 the battle is now over! :) That was actually harder than building the car for me! :P

    72 R code restoMod project

Thanks for the feedback. The only thing I think Ill be forced into purchasing is the Rack and Pinion. They are the only ones that make one for a 71-73. Don't be fooled into thinking a 1970 will fit. IT WONT. Frame rails are too far apart. I'm getting very frustrated with American Mustang...

72 R code being resto moded.

Scott, I offered up the entire drive train for $12K and no bites. I had one guy saying he was interested but when it came to pulling the money out.. He went away... Its easy for people to shake their head... Hard to put their money where their mouth is. There was one guy that said he had an R...

    72 R code restoMod project

AmericanPowerTrain never sent me a quote! I have been begging them for one for about a week. Must be nice not to need the business! As an owner myself and a salesman, I find it hard to buy from people that wont even return your quote requests!!! If they have this bad of customer support prior...

    72 R code restoMod project

Thanks 71 Mach (name?). After talking with my local Tremec dealer (Powered by Ford in Orlando). I decided to go with the close ratio T56 Magnum six speed. According to them, they have done a few Machs and although they have not done a six speed, If I'm careful with engine placement, I can get...

    72 R code restoMod project

Since the "R" code came with a 3.91 ratio rear end, with 26.7" high tires (325X30X20") at 62.5 MPH the car will be running 1900 RPM. This will be good on gas and make the car a great cruiser... Thanks for the suggestion... Ill look into this option. Especially if it requires no cutting! BTW...

HEY GUYS...LOOKING FOR RARE 71-73 STANG

    72 R code restoMod project

Looks like Ill have to start another thread once the pics start flowing! No worries, its a controversial thing I'm doing but IMO, there are MANY more people with funds that like resto mods than purist Mustang owners with money. Not to sound snobby but, I have three Corvettes, 05 Convertible, 63...

    72 R code restoMod project

The pegagsis Mach1 resto used a Coyote... Look it up on google . There is lots of pictures proving it does fit. ALthough Im moding the shock towers by using the RRS units. This give an additional 11 inches for headers and for hands and arms to change plugs.

72 R code being resto moded.

LOL! I have all the originals I can handle. I dont like praying everytime I take one to a car show. I want a reliable ride that is old enough to enter into a classic car show but know Ill get home. I have a 63 split window vette, all original and a 60 vette all original. Im afraid to drive them...
