can anyone tell me how to know if i have the right flywheel? my starter grinds but it will turn the motor untill it gets hot and i have replaced the starter. i thought everything was original on it. i painted the starter gear to see where the teeth hit and it only goes about half way into the...

mine grindes. it sounds like the bendix isn't going in far enough so maybe i have a starter for a manual tranny ? not sure how to check it.

I'M looking for a pair of pillar trim also. so if anyone has a pair for sale i am iterested or if you want to trade i have a lot of parts. i took 2 cars and made 1 but no real good pillar trim :-(
