I had a similar issue and it turned out that my light switch was bad. It only actuated the headlights, but wouldn't work to light up the instrument panel or anything like that

So you did a 2v to 4v intake adapter plate? Those aren't really designed for that sort of fuel quantities. I'd do a 4v intake even if it's a stock one. Plus its a winsdor and performance intakes are cheap and plentiful

If you're careful you could try an undersized drill bit and save the threads, I'd use a punch and steady hands. I've also had luck with using a small drill bit, go about 1/2 way through the bolt and reverse the drill. Good luck
