I have an FMX trans and there is a special bracket that you need to install if you had a 2 barrel and are converting to a 4 barrel. I can take a pic of mine but I believe I got it from NPD for under $20 or so. Good luck. Tom

Thanks, that is the part number that I got this time. I appreciate the response, just reinstalled it. Will hopefully get the distributor and carb back in place later today, depending on if the rain holds off. I am working under a carport, so the weather can be a pain sometimes. Tom

I bought the same one about a year or so ago and installed it a few months ago. I finally got around to bleeding the brakes last month. Brakes bled well but I need to adjust the pedal travel a little more, so I will be pulling the MC for adjustment in the next week or so. Good luck. Tom

Removed my new Summit carb and new Edelbrock Performer 2750 intake manifold because it leaked like a sieve, Turns out the gasket set O'Reilly's sold me was for a Windsor motor. Got the new gasket set and will be re-installing this weekend hopefully. Tom

KCMASH, sorry you are going through so many issues now but I am following this thread closely. After going through my brakes and purging all of the air in the bleeding process, after the car is running, my new power brakes seem to go a lot lower and have less firmness to them as well. Good luck...

I put my 351C in without the long tube headers on, went in very easy. Then installed the headers. Passenger side took about 5 minutes, the driver's side took longer because my headers required a little ding put in one of the runners to fit around the steering gearbox. Good luck. Tom

Sorry for the late response, I just checked mine and on the left side of the trunk, my torsion bar is in the notch closest to the rear of the vehicle. It was originally in the middle and I made a tool and moved it to the rear notch. Have not had an issue with the trunk lid since. There is a pic...

When I added my rear spoiler, I had the same issue. I had to use a piece of pvc to hold the lid up. I moved the torsion rod from the further front notch to (I think) the middle and it was fine after that. I can verify later tonight that I moved it to the middle notch though. Tom
