    My 1973 project daily driver

Is it too late to exchange that intake for a 4v? You'd get more performance out of it. You won't affect low end much, however high end is going to be limited. Are the replacement rods every other one? they probably needed to change the length. You say did a compression check and some pistons...

Emphasis on what is not pictured. This does not work unless you put a plate or in my case a pc of bar stock across the top to distribute the force on the tops of the 2 side pcs.

I've been driving this for 6 months now. I wouldn't change a thing on my transmission. It performs great for high performance street use. It's a little heavy on 2nd and 3rd gear changes. You can get a chirp out of it if you leave your foot in it, however, not too abusive.

I ended up going with .120 On this build. This is a great street strip set up.

? Try this again with fewer words.

I just installed the new one he sent another quickly. Ye I'd prob. be better off with a new eom unit. Anyway 3 in 100 seems to be par for the parts I've been getting over the past few years. They really sold us out when they decided to hand over our American enginuity to China. They took...

`Thanks for the reply. 71 fast has an excellent diagram. I looked at the wires traced the orange w blue / I had no right rear signal and followed it with my probe. It led to the switch. Like 1 whole min since it's disassembled. If I gathered my thought process instead of getting worked up over...

I was having problems with the turn signals, replaced the turn signal assy. and it worked for 2 whole months. All the lights work front and rear with the lights on. The hazards activate both front and rear. Turn the right turn signal on the front right works with no rear signal light. Turn the...

351C Timing: Initial, Curve and Total

You should be right in the ballpark with your total "all in" at 36 deg. 36-38 38 being too adv

    Turn signals more b.s.

I was having problems with the turn signals, replaced the turn signal assy. and it worked for 2 whole months. I was having a separate problem with the left blinker light not working in the dash, I tweaked the tang on the bulb socket to fix it. So, this has nothing to do with this. All the...

    Blinkers

I forgot about the alt gauge on this it's a 3 gauge cluster on this one. Anyway, these stock amber type lights suck & I like the idea of running a cpl LEDS through a relay. I can't see very good at night in this

I used incandescent bulbs on the signals and one of them is bad. I wonder if I had one in the alt? Good point. Ye one of my cheap leds was bad also. The reason I didn't use them on the signals. I might buy all new LEDS from that source, these looked chinchy. I need to bring the car in to the...

    911 request feedback please

I would have sent you an address to ship it to. I'm wondering if there's some kinda internal degradation that can short one of them fancy batteries out. I'd ditch the regulator just in case. This is a short to ground. You should be able to smell it. esp when it occurred. To increase charging...

    Blinkers

I'm hoping I don't have another faulty switch. I recently replaced the lights on my dash & one of the lights is most likely faulty (or it's the new socket, the older sockets screw on the printed circuit better, I tried to use them however a few broke when I cleaned n tweaked them tighter) It's...

I'm curious there's 2 different flashers one above the glove box and one by the steering column. Which one is for what function?

    Blinkers

Good luck with yours. It sounds like the front is not connected. The flashers should function for both sides. There are 2 different flashers. One above the glove box and one by your column. I had to replace my faulty switch, by pulling the steering wheel. 125.00 for the switch and it worked great...

    73 project (advice wanted)

Also, on the install. I know it's a pain in the @ss. I have a lift which was a convenience. You will need to put the front wheels on blocks along with pulling the long motor mount bolts to raise the motor 1" It doesn't have to be very high maybe a cpl of 2 X 4's under each wheel. Ramps will be a...

    73 project (advice wanted)

what do you guys think? hooker comp headers, with an 18 in collector extension? Did they recommend the extensions with the pipes. If not, you'll have a fit problem. the mufflers will sound good on there. 40's have a nice low tone. I personally buy cheaper wicked flow straight through mufflers. I...

Check out the future in school buses. They come with a fire extinguisher and nice chrome safety rails.
