    Thank you! The ones I have appear to have been painted prior to attempting to reconditioning the surface. Nothing like opening the hood and seeing the pitted struts as a first impression. Thanks again.

    I’ve been told the oil pans hold the same quantity and that only the dipstick, which was reindexed for more capacity was changed.

    has anyone used a torque strap?

    I too used a turnbuckle ..... short of solid motor mounts which transfered too much vibration. Work fine, and just removed it when I stopped dragging the car

    Thanks for all the notes guys! For some general info….. I previously owned this car in the late ‘70s. I used for good weather transportation, drove it to college, autocrossed it on the weekends and street raced it in Minnesota and Michigan, where I’m from. Ended up selling in ‘86 to payoff...
