    I have not replaced the tail shaft bushing yet. They did add a weight to the driveshaft and is much better, but the rear view mirror has a constant vibration while driving. So maybe there is still something, or maybe not. Kcmash

    Issue losing power with backfire

    Mine was doing that, I did 2 things. 1) Get a blue wire condenser. They are much more robust than a black wire condenser. Its a Standard Ignition part. 2) I replaced the coil. I had been using an original coil. Not sure which one fixed it. But my backfiring is gone. Kcmash

    Hmmm. My first guess would be a broken plug wire. You said they are new wires, but you may verify you do not have a miss there. Put a vacuum gage on it and see if you are getting smooth and consistent vacuum. If not, do a compression check. Kcmash

    I have a deluxe 2 spoke, but it has cracks. Not sure if you were the one I spoke to on Facebook. My original has a comfort wrap on it, so you don't see the cracks. I believe my wrap is original. Kcmash

    So I tried your suggestion tonight. Vertical pull on the pushrods to set ploylocks. With no extra turns, cylinder 7 stayed at 150. Cranked the poly locks a 1/4 turn, still at 150. Cranked another 1/8 turn, still at 150. So I am 3/8 of a turn past 0 lash on #7, all others are at 1/2 turn...
