I'm interested in this as I plan on adding the system to my car as well. Regarding the seal, I've read in other posts that the seal comes inside out and needs to be flipped when installing? Maybe that is what is going on here?

So sad to hear. Back in the 80's, when I lived in Michigan, they played Pine Knob which is an outdoor venue. Show was sold out but my friends and I drove up there and scaled the fence at the back of the hill and got to see them.
