    Ram air question

I'm interested in this as I plan on adding the system to my car as well. Regarding the seal, I've read in other posts that the seal comes inside out and needs to be flipped when installing? Maybe that is what is going on here?

Would you buy a 71-73 again?

Absolutely would buy again. Saw my first one when my parents picked up their 73 Country Squire at the dealership and my dad claims they basically had to drag me away from the Mach 1 that was on the showroom floor. Bought mine in 1986 and I will never part with it. If had the opportunity (and the...

Great post....and love the picture of your father with the Vulcan. That plane was such a stunner for its time.

    RIP Dusty Hill

So sad to hear. Back in the 80's, when I lived in Michigan, they played Pine Knob which is an outdoor venue. Show was sold out but my friends and I drove up there and scaled the fence at the back of the hill and got to see them.

Routing for windshield washer fluid hoses on a 1973 Q code

I did the same a few years ago and referenced this picture (attached). Also found some good pictures at this link: Windshield Washer Setup (mach1club.com) Hope this helps.

    Cowman's 73 Mach 1 Restoration

Wow, that Camaro looks outstanding. If that is what you had to start with, the Mach 1 should be easy in comparison  Found it interesting that your car originally came with a white vinyl top...can't recall ever seeing one in that color before. Best of luck on the resto, and welcome to...

    Magnum 500 manufacturer

I replaced my factory steel wheels in the late 80's with Magnum 500s that I bought through the local Ford dealer so they are factory parts, not aftermarket. Probably been on the car for about 25k worth of miles? Long story short, I've never had any problems with leaking and there has been at...

    Cool Video

Agreed. As a SE Michigan native (Ferndale, Woodward and Nine mile) I remember hearing the stories about this car and the Silver Bullet GTX.

Mini update with pics (some body gap line up)

Vintageman: Hood molding is original to my knowledge...it was on the car when I bought it in '86. Seeing the differences between Trevynd's and mine, I wonder if the design changed for '73?
