    Right side mirror glass

@Hemikiller That's good to hear, thanks. I'm leaning more and more towards buying the convex replacement. I'll probably wait until I need to grab a couple of other things to save on shipping. Thanks for your input guys. Mike

    Right side mirror glass

@tony-muscle thanks for the reply. That the mirror adheres well is good to hear. Does it look like it sticks out very far? It seems to me that having 2 layers of mirror might look strange

    Right side mirror glass

I did see the listing at OMS and a couple of other sites. He was the least expensive, but I was hoping to spend less by buying a used one. There are also "stick-on" convex mirrors that are pretty cheap, but I worry about them falling off. I'll take a look for your thread too, thanks for letting...

    Throttle Linkage Modification Issue

I think the adapter is just for connecting the kickdown rod to the 1406 linkage. This is what I have set up (still has the old kickdown). The adapter is what the kickdown rod is connected to. IIRC the throttle connection came with the carb. Mike

    Edelbrock carb/throttle connection 71 351c

RIBS The cost of the Lokar setup scared me away too. It looks like Jegs has their own version of the setup at a much cheaper price but I wound up ordering a custom stainless kickdown rod from Kickdown Rods Galore for under $130 shipped. He turned the order around the next day. It's supposed to...

    Proto console ?

I think the belt clipping into the console was just to have a convenient place to keep the belt when not in use. I don't think it was meant to provide protection during a collision.

71 Mach 1 paint color choice help

My opinion: Grabber Blue is cool but Wimbledon White is classy. I bet that's no help. Mike

    Throttle Linkage Modification Issue

If you don't mind I'd like to hijack this thread for a quick question: Does this look like the proper routing for the kickdown rod? Mine wasn't installed when I bought the car. This is towards the bottom of the firewall you can see the brake lines Thanks, Mike
