Plastic Wiring clips - Tighten?

The clips running across my brace will not stay put. Is there a way to secure them? Can the posts be heated and splayed out to grip better?

Since I'm cheap and lazy I pulled the clips through and wrapped some black electrical tape around the posts. Probably not the best solution but...

Usually the ears on the retainer post that spring out to keep the wire in place get broken off when someone yanks on the harness to move it instead of pinching the ears in so they fit back through the hole. Other than replacing them, all you can do is put something on the other side of the panel to keep them in place or use a ziptie.
