Could anyone share where to purchase the ninety degree push on connectors used on the temperature sending unit, and starter solenoid. They are readily available for #8 stud size, but I am unable to locate them for a #10 stud. Thanks in Advance

73pony For the sake of accuracy when breaking in the cam and setting timing I would purchase an aftermarket tach and hook up under the hood so you can watch rpm range during start up, break-in, and tuning.

Dexleo2, I have a 71 mach 1 that I installed a tilt column in. I purchased it as a rebuilt unit. Does the tilt column use a different turn signal arm than a stock column? As of now, my column is locked in a lowered position. I need to figure out how to install the turn signal arm.

Rktmn, Thank you. I will leave it hooked up without the gray MSD wire. I have new motor installed and want to know my rpm range when I start the motor for the first time.

Update.  I talked to MSD tech support. They said I could take the gray wire to the tachometer. If it doesn't work, I could terminate the gray wire on the negative side of the coil. Now I need to locate the tachometer trigger wire. Could you tell me where that is located?

I looked up the starter repair stud and found a solenoid stud that appears to screw onto the existing stud. I may give this a try. Thanks.
