The cars did not have anything special done to accept the 429. I would recommend a good set of subframe connectors though.
I would recommend sticking with manifolds, IMO headers are not worth the trouble.
I've been running a universal Jeg's house branded aluminum radiator for about 11 years with no issue. It fit into the stock saddles, the only issue to some is no trans "cooler" lines.
That looks great! My son bought me a double din for CHRISTmas. Its in line for installation after the brakes and A/C evaporator. Gotta get my butt in gear here!!
