    Hello from Oklahoma

Good luck with your project and welcome!

    Totally STUMPED!

All in good fun my man! 😂 Does the Petronix have a module in it? Modules can go bad and cause erratic problems. I'm sure you have checked all your grounds for good clean corrosion free connections? I would think Petronix could give you guidance on checking module for proper functioning.

    Totally STUMPED!

What kind of ignition system are you running? Points, ignition box, etc. If you still are running a condenser, those can drive you nuts! BTW @ 2300 mph that's a pretty robust mill you got there! :giggle:

    Help with drivers door mirror!?

I've run into the same problem. Painted the mirror assembly, installed, but the cable won't stay out of the way of the window coming up. Will be watching to see what solutions might be suggested.

    Lettering on Mach 1 Hoods

My '72 Mach 1 has no blackout on the hood. It does have 351 Ram Air on the hood just behind the duct opening. Did they come this way or did some previous owner add them? Thanks!

    Dash board colors

Thanks for all the replies. From what I've gleaned from them is my Mach 1 more than likely came with the charcoal color.

    Dash board colors

Do all Mach1 base dash boards come in black? I know the dash pad can be other colors to match the other trim like green pad for green interior. By base I mean the piece that mounts the Speedometer, gauges, glove box door, etc. See photo below. Thanks

    Tracking down old owners?

Recently been investigating a bit deeper in to my Mach 1's history. Marti report showed it was sold by a dealer in Lafayette, Georgia out of the Atlanta Sales District.. Called down to a local car dealer who informed me that Presswood Ford Auto Sales was closed up not many years after my car...

Anyone know how to get a Grant horn button to function and not just spew sparks?

Wish I had read this thread before I bought the Grant steering wheel kit from hell. I had wooden rim Grant back in the day on my bracket car but no horn kit was needed. So feeling nostalgic I bought another one with the horn kit. Seems I ran into every issue described in this thread! The last...

Beautiful Ford Pantera at a local car show.

I remember seeing Pete Rose tooling around Western Hills in Cincinnati with his Pantera back in the early 70s. https://www.hagerty.com/media/buying-and-selling/classic-classified-1970-detomaso-mangusta/

    Grave Yard Carz

Lately I have been watching a lot of the TV show Grave Yard Carz. It's very interesting to see all the various models and options that could be had in Mopar muscle cars. The tools & equipment Worman and crew get use makes me salivate with envy. Which brings the question: Who would be...

    Exhaust tips

Careful what you get. A lot of crapola out there made offshore. Check out Stainless Works stuff. They make them in Strongsville, Ohio U.S.A. They cost some serious coin but they will out last the crappy ones.

    Replacement Exhaust Tips with resonators

Got the Stainless Works exhaust tips last week. Not the exact dimensions of the old ones but they'll do. Definitely will flow better than the old ones.

    Maybe a dumb question

If it doesn't specifically tell you to do so in the instructions I wouldn't.
