Did you guys follow these cars at Mecum Harrisburg? Fascinating cars!

I do not understand the trend of leaving barn finds all dusty and filthy to auction them off. The guy from "Chasing Classic Cars" does this all the time, he does not want the cars touched as it will remove the grime off them, and he claims buyers want to see the grime, dirt, and dust, and I am...

To EFI or Not EFI, that, and which one, is the question.

Very good points here. I started selling aftermarket EFI kits in the early 90's. None of those early kits have any support anymore. The aftermarket moves on, just like the OEM's do, and they stop supporting their systems after a while, just like the OEM's do. The difference is that usually on an...

Tach install in no tach car

So, if you have a factory tach outside of the dash in your hands you can't just wire it up to work? You can't just put 12V to it and connect it to, in this case coil positive with the correct resistance and make it work?

What was with this Mustang? 2F05H for $88,000?

I think that what happens here is that these cars, are restored to the nth degree. They are nut and bolt restorations on a rotisserie. The cars are better than new in basically every way. You buy this car and you do not have to worry about anything, as everything is basically new. So, the...

    electric fan

There are tons of pusher auxiliary fans you can find out there. The only suggestion I have for you, is to try and get a good brand name fan. Flexalite used to make some pretty descent electric fans that moved a lot of air and lasted. Most of the stuff you will find on the web will be cheap China...

Tach install in no tach car

Do the OEM tach's work different than an aftermarket tach? Wouldn't the OEM tach have a wire that gets a signal from the coil negative side? I know that some of the OEM GM tach I have worked on have a wire that just goes to the negative side of the coil. Does the OEM Ford tach somehow work in a...

    72 Sprint Coupe

I found a place where they have a photo of a 72 Sprint with a blue vinyl top. If you look at this link there is a box with some photos under the description of what a Mustang Sprint is. In that box with the photos, you scan scroll through the photos and you will find some of photos of a 72...

    73 Ranchero

No matter how you look at it $300 is a steal. You could literally drag it to the scrap yard and double your money, but the car is worth a ton more in parts, or to someone that wants to put it back on the road. Too bad it is not a 429.

    Crankcase venting alternatives - thoughts

I would think that there would be issues with trying to vent the engine gases that low in the oil pan, as you are literally into the oil. Hemikiller's suggestion of doing it at the fuel pump or timing chain cover is probably a better idea. I would think that you need somewhere further away from...

Coil spring cover bolts: in or out

When I bought my car the bolts were coming in from the inside of the wheel well, they looked original and did not seem like anyone had touched them. I installed them back the way I found them, even though it looks neater if you put them with the head bolts going in from the engine side.

1973 Mach 1 back from MOM, Mustang Owner's Museum

Sometimes people will hate other people for their ideology, political views or orientation, because of one negative trait, or one thing that they said or did. Conversely they will idolize someone because they align ideologically, or politically with them, and will completely disregard all the...
