    fiberglass nasa hood

Anybody try or recommend a good bolt-on fiberglass mach 1 hood, fitment issues better than steel dynacrap hood? I have my HEAVY, original mach hood, but needs major welding. Below hood bolts right one, saves much weight, too. Was looking at hood from Unlimited products in CA.   1971-1973...

    Direction's flector replacement

The adjustment nut u tightened is NOT to be messed with on the vehicle. It is set on the bench with inch pound wrench, torqueing it more will wear out the worn drive /gear rack assembly in short order. If u have play in gear box, get it rebuilt out of the car.

with steering wheel off, there is a small hole that u push a small awl into as u turd the key cylinder to accessory position, I believe, that will allow the lock pin to be depressed, allowing the lock/key assembly to be pulled out.

Injection fuel pump for factory gas tank

Try tanks, inc. They have one that u have to cut top out of tank, get a new tank from them, works like a charm, or u could modify ur stock pick-up for a walbro pump.  All tank pumps will run cooler with return line.

    AC delete question

If u still want a heater, then just plug up the a/c evap. at firewall. If no heater and max weight savings, pull the whole heater/a/c box fron under dash and silicone a block off plate for inside cowl/firewall holes.

    17 X 8 or 18 X 8 wheels

I dig them < they add a retro look with modern feel and casting techniques. Looks like magnesium salt flat halibrands As to sizes, figure out what overall tire height u want before choosing wheels, 18`s a lot rougher riding that 17`s, etc. Most 18`s tires height under 26 inches which looks...

    Magnum 500 wheels--looking for recommendations

ur correct about small corner problem areas. This should not be a problem with one piece cast rims, Wheels  rust if not plated first with copper, E.P.A. rules prevent most shops from using copper solution tanks, but a few are grandfathered in that still use copper tanks. The original magnum...

    Anyone running a 325/50-15

On  our cars, the axle is not centered in the wheel well, it is about an inch forward. You can buy adjustable leaf spring mounts that you can use to pull tires back away from front inner wheelhouse inch point.

    Finally Painted!

Really like the lime color, great hood blackout. I agree with Carolina mustang, leave sheetmetal off till engine/ect. is running, no scratches. Yes, gapping is done before paint, use blue painters tape and remember when setting gaps, "the enemy of good is better"
