    I guess since 2012 it has been changed. Looks like ont he 73 models the ball joint is riveted. I can't find the right piece anywhere, or maybe I'm blind... Does anyone know where to find it ? Thanks

    Here is the answer from KYB "Both 343156 and KG4504 are correct for the 73 Mustang.  You’re correct that KG4504 is a little shorter, but that is by design due to the higher damping rate that is meant to give a little more suspension performance.  You would just need to jack up the axle a little...

    Recommendations needed for a front drum to front disk conversion kit.

     I changed my front drums to discs, using appropriate spindles. I have also changed my pedals as I am moving from an automatic to a manual gearbox. And the pedal support of a vehicle with drum brakes is different from a vehicle with disc brakes, which is important.

    I have already had new valve guides fitted. I am not going to have the cylinder heads modified yet. In this case, can I install the same 16 valve stem seals and not use the ones for the exhaust? As the intake ones are longer, they should be more efficient?

    In the FELPRO gasket kit, there are these valve stem seals. There are two bags with different gaskets, one for the intakes (16 pieces) and one for the exhausts (8 pieces). I wonder if these gaskets are very effective because they do not completely close the oil passage. What do you think?

    The shocks were delivered today.  You can see quite a difference in length between the two, if it helps others not to make the same mistake. Or maybe the short ones could be installed with some shorter springs ? I don't know...

    Rockauto tells me that according to the manufacturer's specifications, KYB in this case, these suspensions fit on our 71/73.     The front suspension I try to install are KG 4504 and are shorter than the original ones. I need to change them for sure. If KYB#343156 are longer, that's what I need.

    From drum to disk.  One side is done, almost. The KYB gas is shorter than the ones I had, probably the original ones, wait until the car is on the ground.

    I remember I had the same issue on my first Mustang, ordered the wrong coupler. Today, on the Mach1, I removed the Lares 202, and was able to connect the 201 I had since years, I don't really understand as it sould be or 36 or 31 splines... And just realize I need to turn it half round
