Was busy yesterday. Lifters adjusted Valley Pan installed Intake Installed New oil pump installed New Oil Pan installed. Starting to look like an engine again.

Thanks. Not a worry in AZ then. The gasket is Engine Pro and I bought the Valley pan a while ago...don't know the brand. But it locally available.

Hope this makes sense. Just finished adjusting my lifters and ready for the intake to go on. I'm laying out the gasket (order goes gasket, valley pan then intake) and noticed that is partly covers one of the coolant ports, is that a huge deal? Should I augment them to not block the port...

Each car is different and geographical area differs as well. I paid $2k for my running 1973 Sports Roof (Not a Mach 1). I drove it home, but ended up having to rebuilding the engine anyway. Keep that in mind. I think 3k would be the top price. In not running condition, no more than 2k.

They really are cool to have. It's a bit pricey, but I also purchased my "Original" invoice from them. Not a copy but the original.

Define "After run" if you will. Pending that definition: If it's where the car seem to run for a bit longer then dies, we use to call that dieseling. It could be caused by timing, or fuel issue.

As I stated it's been a while since I done major engine work. If you use a piston stop tool and mark the damper twice for both hits the middle will be TDC. Just to double check both valve/tappit will be down?

To restore the padding on the vent door inside the heater box, I need to adhere the new pads. Any recommendations on the adhesive to use? Thanks. Tim
