    Hand-built Lamborghini Countach w/351C

That is one awesome car, the guy has some real skills. Just wait until he goes register it for street use and the NHTSA requires crash testing before they'll certify it safe for the streets.

    Occupations

Last year I installed several pull out shelves and the Frau loves them, I even "admit" they're great. Had I known a fellow 7173 member had them I would have ordered from you. Jim

    Hello from Germany

Juergen, welcome to the club and from Washington State. Beautiful Mustang you have there and your English is just fine. I can speak and read German but have a hard time typing it so won't even try. I spent 9 years in Germany and when I departed I stole two of Germany's treasures, my Frau...

Able to change from N to D?

I can top that, my younger son called me and said he couldn't open the car door, I asked him if had tried both sides and he said he did. So I drove to his location, tried the key pod nothing, key pod battery was dead, so I stuck the key in the door lock and opened the door. My soon was...

    Boss 351 project

The big issue is that someone who is going to be putting the needed money into restoring that car is going to want to be 100% sure it's a Boss, not a Mach1 with a Boss Dash Vin# and Boss title that came with the dash. The most reliable way that I know how to do that is by the VIN stamped onto...

    Engine ID

With the engine in, it's a pain trying to see the VIN# number, I tried using a mirror with no luck, finally used a flexible scope camera, worked great. I believe some auto parts stores will even lend you one. To my delight the engine number matched my dash Vin# and the number stamped on the...

    Boss 351 project

Since the front was replaced after an accident with a Mach 1 clip does that mean the Vin# on the frame doesn't match the Boss dash vin? If so that could be a major issue for someone wanting to restore a Boss in that condition.

    Chrome bumper or not?

The urethane front bumper for my 71 is hanging in the garage, I recently put a chrome bumper on it and like the look. Not correct for a Mach1 but it's "period correct" and I like it, that's all that should matter to any owner. Jim

What bands have you seen live?

Been to several of them over the years, the last one was Crosby, Stills & Nash at an out door concert at a winery here in Washington a few months ago. It was a great concert but there was friction with the crowd when one of them went on a political rant and tried getting everyone in the...

HELP NEEDED TICKING OR KNOCKING SOUND

If the guy does come through and pay for all damages, good to go but if he doesn't and you carry comprehensive coverage you're insurance should cover it and then they'll subrogate/sue in an attempt to get their money back from him as the person who caused the damages. Had you given him...

    Need Help to ID Bird

Looks like a duck falcon to me, the huge claws give it away as a predator. They're really easy to train, might explain why it isn't afraid, might be someone's bird. Jim
