yeah Don I have to agree. I'm not much of a bird watcher but falcons are similar to hawks but hawks are usually larger.Looks like some kind of falcon, and looks young. Someone in your neighbor hood may raise them.

There are a lot of squirrels and lizards in the area.
Walked outside not long ago and found a three foot egret
standing on the fence, no idea where that came from.

Apparently this big rascal saw the reflection of a squirrel on the tree reflect on his big window flew right through the glass ..and YEP that big sob was perched on his dining room chair....looked to be about 3.5 feet tall estimated 50 lbs (I guess) with talons that were longer than my fingers and you KNOW they are razor sharp. We finally got up the nerve to open a sliding glass door . and he flew out. wing span was HUGE
