    I have Nitto 255/50r17 tires which are 27" diameter on the rear of my vert. Fills up the wheel well pretty nicely.

    I don't think it is a case of the back end being low, but rather the front end being high. I would look at a set of front lowering springs or cut the coils you have to lower the front.

    Were any oiling system modifications made? Were you using a high volume oil pump?

    Where is the fan rubbing the shroud? Top? Bottom? Sides? There is some adjustment in the shroud and you can shim the trans mount up or down.

    Don't get caught up in chasing a number. The A/F gauge is a great tool but it is not the end all be all. Getting the car to run as well as it can within safe parameters is the goal. Seat of the pants (and/or the time slip) and how the plugs look have the final say.

    Any 4V intake gasket will work. I would stay away from the Felpro Printoseal gaskets with the blue silicone around the ports. They don't hold up well over time.

    The rich idle and "run on" after you turn the key off are symptoms of too much transition slot exposure. What is the initial timing? This plays a role in establishing idle speed and ultimately t-slot exposure.
