    Toploader

It is the input shaft as well as the corresponding drive on cluster gear that has broken. It was renovated over 15 years ago, I bought it in 2004 so it's been a while since it was renovated. It was lying in the garage for a long time before the car was ready. Both the input and output shaft are...

    Toploader

Thought the toploader was bulletproof. But I learned the hard way. Just buy new parts and try again. Do not know why it happened it was completely renovated when I bought it. And it has not rolled many miles. // Thomas

    Jon Kaase Boss 429

It is used as often as I can. Works really well maybe a little too much torque / horsepower. But I'm getting used to it now. Must use the accelerator pedal with caution // Thomas

Factory A/C install in a non A/C car who has done it

When I mounted air cond on my 71 conv so was my problem that the mounting brackets for the fan on the firewall was missing. Apparently not mounted on all non-air cond cars. had to drill those out  from a donor car. // Thomas

Ultra Rare Blue Thunder 429 / 460 COBRA Aluminum T Oil Pan

There is a Melling hi volume oil pump (not cj / scj) the pick up I do not know the brand. There was a Moroso # 20614 drag race rear sump pan on the engine so I had to change the pick up when i replaced the pan. And the new pick up comes from Jon Kaase I think. I bought the engine through Joe...

Ultra Rare Blue Thunder 429 / 460 COBRA Aluminum T Oil Pan

Unfortunately, you can not mount it without grinding it if you have a Ford M-6010-A460 block. It is not enough space because the splayed caps are too wide. I know ! // Thomas

    429 c6

Bought a C6 transmission to my 429 and found this number (in the picture) on it. Anyone know what the letter Z stands for. According to the ID tag it is from a 70/71 429 4V floor shift. Z is the boss 429 as far as I know. But the boss 429 was never built with automatic so that's out of the...

Found no VIN on the block. But a build sheet under the carpet. And engine code says # K 611 S. and should be 351 C 2v if I'm not wrong. // Thomas

Yeah, I doubt that it was an option. But have a friend who claims here in Sweden that his 72H Code should have had a windsor from the factory, but I do not believe in him. The car was sold new in Sweden (DSO 99) Thanks for your answers! // Thomas
