    Power Booster Vacuum

    Does this go to the large fitting on the tree on the rear of the intake manifold? There wasn't a line when I replaced my master cylinder and power booster. And the larger fitting on the tree is capped off. The drawing says that's 3/8 vacuum hose. I've tried a couple places looking for that...

    heater hose connector on engine block needs replacing

    I just did the tap thing too. Must be an NPT tap and the tap cuts out the old sleeve. Have one of those magnets on a the end of a pointer for picking up parts. Gets the shavings out of the block.

    Repainting the radiator now. Ya know I will replace it later when I get to it for now a fresh coat of paint. Had to tap the block twice on that water pump. Fitting worked great. Blinged up that thermostat coupling with chrome. Need some bling so I got these too. I'll wait till the 4v heads go on...

    Your Restoration Regrets

    Was putting a third coat of paint on the water pump pulley and also blasting the rust on a clamp on the radiator hose with PB Blaster. Pay attention to what can your holding. Pulley got the PB. Could have been worse. Clamp could have gotten flat black. What a sticky gooey black mess.

    Two blocks from where I work. I was in a real hurry all day yesterday and could only do a drive by look over. But it was there all day long so I figure they work at the location. Seen a couple parts listed on Craiglist from this area for 71-73 years. Going to stop in there this week and inquirer...
