Kurt - Yeah, I'm planning on snagging the roller quarter window mechanisms from the coupe. But - I think I might know where another set-up might be (hint: '73 coupe with opera windows at Clark's Auto Salvage). I'll make a trip by there one day soon and check it out... if it's got 'em, I'll have 'em pulled and let'cha know.

As much as I hate to say it, I will not be attempting to resurrect the '72 Mach 1... ONLY because mine's still not finished. I'm pretty much after the fenders, fender supports, interior quarter trim panels, gauge pod trim panel (if equipped and the air vent anchors aren't broken off), glass, bumpers, front valance, 9" pumpkin (if 3.50s), and some other various things - if they're still good. The dashboard harness might be missing some dash light sockets and foot well courtesy lights though.

But - If I like what I see, and it winds up under a car cover - all bets are off. ;) :D

That fastback would be a great project for a Mad Max machine if Mel drove a Mustang because it would make one badass looking Road Warrior in flat black with a blower sticking out.:p

I found them here - I didn't make them.

Here's the real deal (saw this Mustang on ebay a year ago so I made a copy of the picture for posterity)..

mityman - I'll be sure to check and let'cha know about the 'Park' light.

Any chances that you'll be parting out a set of wind-down windows from the coupe?

-Kurt
