dont put over 600 edelbrock carb on it. but its decent up to there. i got 21 mpg with that set up. and ran great. i had to check the milage three time before i could believe it. got a 750 on it now with 4bbl intake

i do a compression test , if shes holding good compression , i would leave her alone. they had hardened valve seats i believe for unleaded by 71. put a can of engine restore in it next oil change. and be gratefull. i do run some lucas upper cylinder lube in my older engines as the ethenol blends...

The car is painted and all thats left is mach decals trunk locks small items.I can say that using the 69/70 bumper brackets is the way to go as it makes it a bolt on project. of the 4 holes of the original in the frame rail only the back passenger side lines up. the others you drill new holes...

yep no hot coolant in the manifold makes it cold natured. ive had 428 cj. 302 351c. 390 289, they are all cold natured. the old cars just were even with a choke. chevys no better. i have to say that back in the day hollys ruled. but as of now edelbrock[weber] gets the nod from me. esp on a 351c
