I know it's nowhere near as capable as a Super Duty, but I made myself an "F200". It's an F150 4x4 that I swapped a V10 into. The V10 has a lot of torque for a measly 415 cubes. It's very happy in my F150 in front of the Super Duty's 4R100 transmission. It also has a limited slip.

I definitely would not pay $1000 for it. Title stuff can be a nightmare. It once took me two years to get a title for a motorcycle I bought. I would do maybe 500-700 and have my mindset that it's a parts car. Use the lack of title as a negotiating piece. I think you're better off to continue...

This isn't a race car so I'd like to keep the factory look inside the car. Factory gauges are good enough to let you know something isn't right.

Yeah, interference engines suck. I ran my turbos around 12 PSI. They were spunky, but needed a different fuel system and an intercooler to put down any real power.

Yeah, I have had a lot of Z31's. Turbo, NA, manual, auto... etc. That one is actually my Dad's - he lives with me. It gets driven once a month or so to go to the grocery store.
